Frijole is a sweet little guy who was surrendered by his owner to a Northeastern Colorado shelter. Frijole loves other dogs his size and riding in the car. He gobbles his food down like there's no tomorrow but takes treats gently. One of Frijole's favorite things to do is chewing on a filled morrow-bone. His foster mom reports that he seldom barks, even when outside and with people walking by him. She says he would be a great apartment or condo dog. Frijole is enjoying trips to PetSmart almost every day, where he is learning to socialize and no longer fears humans. His leash-training is coming along beautifully!

This little guy is smart and learns quickly. Frijole knows the commands "sit,” "wait" and comes when called. He loves to play and if he gets a little mouthy, his foster-mom says "gentle" and he closes his mouth! When it's quiet time, he loves to curl up into a tiny ball! Will you give Frijole a loving and caring home and show him there are humans who won't hurt him, ever? He's looking for that special home he can call his Forever Home. Please open up your heart and your home to Frijole and fill out the paperwork to make his wishes come true!

Adoption fee is $200 which covers microchip, DAPP, Rabies, spay/neuter and includes one training session with Kendra Mojica, ARR Dog Behaviorist.  Adoption fees also allow us to continue saving animals. Our adoption process is:

1. Adoption application online and meet the animal.

2. Home inspection by one of our volunteers.

3. Adoption agreement online before you pick up animal.

4. Paypal on our website for adoption fee, otherwise pay the foster parent in the form of a check or money order.
