Meet Bear! He is a sweet, loving dog who is looking for his Forever Home that will welcome him as a permanent member of the family.  Bear has velvet-soft fur, which probably accounts for his name! Bear doesn't bark and does very well in his kennel. He had little socialization as a young pup, and this year he learned to come out of his shell. Bear wants to play, but sometimes he's unsure if that is acceptable behavior. He's intrigued by squeaky toys, and he likes treats and takes them with a gentle mouth.

Bear is looking for that exceptional human who has lots of patience, love and understanding. He needs a human who is willing to give him the basic obedience and socialization that he needs in order to become a well-balanced dog.

Adoption fee is $175 and covers microchip, DAPP, Rabies, Heart Worm test and spay/neuter. Adoption fees also allow us to continue saving animals. Please email for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time.

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here.
