Meet Sierra.  Like her name, she is a beautiful young girl who is sweet, a non-barker and thinks she's a lap-dog!  Sierra likes walks, car rides and dog beds.  Food is a great motivator for her, so if something comes up missing on the counter or table, she might be the culprit! She accepts treats with a gentle mouth.  Sierra's foster-mom rescued her the day before she was going to be euthanized by the Rocky Ford shelter.  Being in a shelter has left Sierra with some separation anxiety but when her human is home, she is calm and feels secure.

She knows the commands "sit," "stay," and "shake." She is currently learning how to "lie down" and to play dead when you say "bang" to her! Sierra is looking for a home willing to make her a member of the family and work with her on her training and exercise.  Will you open up your heart and home to give Sierra a loving, secure home?  She would be so thankful to have you take her home.  If interested, please fill out the paperwork and start the process of giving Sierra her forever home!

Adoption fee is $200 and covers microchip, DAPP, Rabies, spay/neuter.  Adoption fees also allow us to continue saving animals. Please email ARRColorado@gmail.com for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time.

Our adoption process is:

1. Adoption application online and meet the animal.

2. Home inspection by one of our volunteers.

3. Adoption agreement online before you pick up animal.

4. Paypal on our website for adoption fee, otherwise pay the foster parent in the form of a check or money order.
