Meet Dora, who's almost famous! Dora was featured on a Colorado news website wearing her princess crown in a segment about ARR. Check out the video here:

Dora adores children and will play dress-up patiently and happily! She is a loyal and brave dog who will always protect her family. She is a happy, loving and protective girl with a dominant personality. Dora needs to be the only pet so she can get all of the love and attention of both her family and their guests. Dora has a wonderful calming effect with children who have special needs. Multiple times, Dora has helped a child come out of their shell through patience, love and her fierce loyalty to her people. Dora would be a perfect companion for a special child, and this would make her heart happy!

Dora has a cute little trait of hopping around and being silly. She likes bones and toys, but she loves treats the most! The motivators that work best with Dora are praise and food.
Dora knows all the basic commands: "come", "sit", "down" and many more. Dora was previously boarded at the American Canine Academy for a 4 week training course on dog training and basic obedience. Her obedience on leash is guaranteed! The Academy does have a $50 transfer fee but once that is taken care of, she has five free private follow-up classes at the American Canine Academy and free group classes for the rest of her doggie life.

December's "Baby It's Cold Outside" Discount: Adoption fee is $169 and covers microchip, DAPP, Rabies, Heart Worm test, spay/neuter and includes the classes at the Academy. Adoption fees also allow us to continue saving animals. Please email for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time.

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here.
